President's Welcome

Welcome to PNWIS 2011! The PNWIS annual conferences are always a success in every way – excellent technical presentations, an exhibitor’s hall, great networking opportunities, and beautiful venues. PNWIS 2011 carries on that tradition with what promises to be another wonderful conference. The planning committee has put together an outstanding technical program, featuring four concurrent presentation tracks, a keynote address and a professional development workshop. At PNWIS, we take pride in the fact that we know how to combine business and pleasure. So not only will you benefit professionally by attending the conference, but come expecting to have a good time – you will not be disappointed! And if you’ve never been to Harrison Hot Springs, you are in for a treat – don’t forget your swim suit! I look forward to seeing you there.

Conference Chair's Welcome

On behalf of the B.C./Yukon Chapter, we would like to welcome all sponsors, exhibitors and participants to the 51st Annual Conference of the Pacific Northwest International Section (PNWIS) of the Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA). This year's conference is being held at the beautiful Harrison Hot Springs Resort, nestled in the Coast Mountains of B.C.'s Fraser Valley.

True to PNWIS traditions, the Harrison experience promises to be one that all participants will find both technically rewarding and socially invigorating; one that you and your family will remember for years to come.
